Be Someone

Be Someone is a nonprofit organization that uses chess as a tool to teach life lessons to at-risk youth. Founded by Orrin “Checkmate” Hudson, their mission is to empower kids with skills for success through critical thinking and strategic planning, aiming to transform lives positively. They offer leadership training and other programs designed to prevent youth violence and promote positive development.
