The Center for Black Educator Development

The Center for Black Educator Development is committed to rebuilding the national Black teacher pipeline to achieve educational equity and racial justice. It emphasizes the importance of Black students having Black teachers, which significantly enhances their academic performance and personal development. The Center offers various programs to encourage high school and college-aged individuals to explore and commit to careers in education, emphasizing culturally responsive, affirming, and sustaining teaching practices.
